Choke-up and Release

Try choking up on the grip of your club/s, doing so will allow your right hand (for right handers) to turn over much quicker as impact is made.   Turning over the right hand  a split second  prior to impact will “whip” the clubhead faster into the ball.

When a proper release occurs there is a very fluid, almost effortless feeling when the ball is struck.   Using your driver, try practicing this all-important move and think about “snapping”   both wrists  in the impact zone.   Timed correctly, a good release will reward you with  more yardage.
