Stance

photo credit: Lisa Sanderson Golf is a great game, it allows the player to address and hit the ball in any way they choose. The problem is that many players don't take the time to learn the proper set-up (address) technique. A proper address begins with the correct stance.
The position of the feet, should be shoulder width apart. The player's weight should be distributed on the insides of both feet to insure good balance and maximum power. The lead foot (closest to the target) should be pointed slightly outward and in the direction of the target, while the trailing foot should be straight (square). The knees should be slightly flexed with the trailing knee turned slightly in towards the golf ball.
Employing the correct stance will work wonders for your game and help lower your score.
