photo credit: mrnoy9n Almost every golfer enjoys hitting mid-irons and there is a good reason for it. Mid-irons are probably the easiest clubs to hit because they give the player the most margin for error. Below are a few tips that should help you improve your mid-iron game:
1. Maintain a chin up position to allow for a better shoulder turn. 2. Keep your hands directly under your shoulders during address. 3. Avoid hunching by keeping your spine straight. 4. Your spine angle should match your address position exactly during the swing. 5. Acceleration through impact should be smooth and not forced. 6. Finish in a well balanced position.
As with any golf shot, good tempo is the key, swing within yourself.
