There are two things synonymous with every sport, competitiveness and fun. The fun is shared by both the players AND the spectators in every sport. In my view, the mojority of PGA Tour players are so mundane that it is no longer fun to watch them. If you grew up with golf in the 60s and 70s as I did, I'm sure you would understand the difference between then and now.

While on the first tee of a US.Open playoff between Lee Trevino and Jack Nicklaus, Trevino reached in his golf bag, grapped a rubber snake and threw it at the feet of Jack Nicklaus. Everyone near the snake, including Jack, ran for cover (so to speak) and it was captured by live television. I can give one example after another of why golf was "FUN" back then. Thank you very much for your observation it was well taken and I'm glad you are taking advantage of our web-site.
