Putting From the Rough

In order to promote a steeper  stroke on your backstroke  which will help avoid the taller grass, lower your front shoulder  when in  your address position.   Keep  much of your weight distributed over your lead foot and   allow your  wrists to hinge on the backswing,  just as if you were hitting a chip shot.   Stroke down on the ball and make a good follow-through on this type of shot.
