McDermott     Other than the Old Course at St. Andrews, Augusta National (home of The Masters), is the most famous in the world.   Augusta National is a masterpiece and if you, by an unusual quirk of fate, have an opportunity to play it, here is what you need:

Because the greens are so incredibly fast at Augusta, in order to gain control of your shots, you have to play the slopes.   This will allow you to stop the ball quicker than you could if you played the contours of the green.   This is one course where you have to know which way the green slopes  and how best to plan your approach.   Execute your approach to fire into the slopes.

For amatuers at Augusta, two putt greens  come at a premium.
